Our Concept

The concept of BRICK LANE incarnated on one fine day in 2011 when three bankers turned food enthusiasts felt all nostalgic for their college days comfort food a.k.a. British all day breakfasts & eggs benedict and embarked on a quest for it to only end up with disappointment at the short of good choices in town. At the same time, the three have always been fascinated by the vibe and bustle of Brick Lane in East London, hence the idea to bring the eclectic mix of their favorite British gastronomy and the vibrant atmosphere of Brick Lane to life in Hong Kong.

The properties of Brick Lane contributing to its extreme popularity among London’s edgy and artistic crowd are rightly so, the origins of the design and decor of BRICK LANE restaurants – hip, trendy, stylish, artistic, fashionable. The tripartite love for Brick Lane has seen their restaurants displaying artsy characters of the infamous London street, including replications of some of Banksy’s famous graffiti works alongside BRICK LANE’s iconic “ghost” bike mounted on the walls and full size blackboards to allow spontaneous visiting amateur artists to show off their talents. BRICK LANE Gallery has kicked it up a notch by designating space to exhibit art pieces of up and coming local artists.
